Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, absolutely. You can deactivate the entire referral system with a single toggle from the dashboard.
When deactivated:
- No new referrals can be made
- Existing referral links stop tracking new clicks
- All commission settings are preserved
- Pending withdrawals can still be processed
- You can reactivate anytime with all settings intact
To deactivate: Go to Referral System → Click "Deactivate System" at the top of the dashboard.
Commissions are earned when:
- A referred user clicks the referral link and signs up
- The referred user completes a successful payment
- The payment is not refunded within the refund period (14 days)
For recurring commissions, referrers earn on each successful recurring payment as long as the referred subscription remains active.
Commissions are added to the referrer's available balance immediately after the refund period ends.
To process a withdrawal request:
- Go to Referral System → Withdrawal Requests
- Review the request details (amount, payment method, user)
- Click Approve to process or Reject with reason
- For approved requests, send payment via PayPal, bank transfer, or crypto
- Mark as completed after payment is sent
You can also use bulk actions to approve or reject multiple requests at once.
We recommend setting your minimum payout between $20 and $50.
This balances:
- Referrer motivation: Low enough to earn payouts regularly
- Your operational costs: High enough to avoid excessive small transfers and fees
For PayPal, consider $20-30 minimum. For bank transfers, $50+ is recommended due to higher transaction costs.
You can adjust this anytime in Commission Settings.
Yes. Click on any referrer's name or the "View Details" button to see:
- Complete list of referred users
- Date each referral signed up
- Plan purchased and payment amount
- Commission earned per referral
- Subscription status (active/cancelled)
You can also export this data for individual referrers or in bulk.
If you detect fraudulent activity (self-referrals, fake accounts, etc.):
- Reject any pending withdrawal requests from the user
- Deduct fraudulent commissions from their balance
- Flag or ban the user account
- Add notes to the user record for future reference
You can also enable automatic fraud detection in Settings → Referral System → Fraud Prevention.
By default, referral cookies last 30 days. You can adjust this from 1 to 365 days in Commission Settings.
This means if a user clicks a referral link but doesn't sign up immediately, the referrer will still get credit if the user signs up within the cookie duration.
Recommended durations: 30-60 days for most businesses, up to 90 days for high-ticket items with longer decision cycles.
